What else is new?
I've been thinking about writing a journal for a while (seeing as my last one was a month and a half ago), but honestly, I had no idea what to say.
Lots of craziness at school, work, work work! On top of that, I have my design work and trying to appease my design teachers to let me into the Graphic Design program (try a year ago, redux.)
This is also on top of a lot of writing getting done (this means bad fanfiction, boys and girls!)
Oh, and I've been thinking about doing a news article for here, if any of you read/care. I'm thinking "Typography and You: Why Comic Sans Must Die".
---
Huge heads-up, btw, if any of you are reading The Majin Tales.
As you all know, Majin was my DnD character and I regret to inform you that everyone's "favorite" rogue has passed on to the Raven Queen's realm with not much hope for returning.
However, this leaves some room for my newest character, Lucy Lampwick, Paladin-in-Training! Not positive if I'm writing for her, I'm sort of thinking of going with the flow for this lovely lady, although I do have some ideas in mind.
---
Anyways.
That's all I got.
Go home.

Color Inspiration
This article is featured on my ColourLovers profile and features colors and palettes designed and compiled on the site by myself.
Looking for inspiration for color palettes for use in print, web or even art and photography? Color is all around you, and there are so many great places to go out and find it!
- Public Bathrooms
It may seem odd, but many of them are designed with specific palettes and moods in mind, and it's very interesting to see the differences from place-to-place!
- Interesting Places
Again, these tend to be designed with these colors in mind or for a reason, but even the idea of a place, or the prominent objects in th
New Semester, New Sketchbook and Other Resolutions
Alright, a new semester! Woohoo, let's do this! :w00t:
This semester, I finally got into the design program at my university, which means my work can only get better and better! Yay!
During break (or as I call it, 'The Winterlude'), however, I finished my first sketchbook, the one I've kept since my senior year of high school. It's been an amazing personal journey discovering how to express my ideas, how to better visualize what I want to create and how to brainstorm effectively.
It seems like forever ago when I got that thing in the End of Borders Clearance Sales (yes, THAT long ago!)

4 Photo Ideas to Use Instead of a Vintage Filter
We’ve all seen these filters, the low-contrast, yellow-and-pink, faded photo faux vintage look. Ever since it was popularized by the site-slash-app Instagram, the look has exploded, appearing in every corner of Facebook, Tumblr and deviantART.
However, the look is slowly becoming a cliché. You see it everywhere- and I mean everywhere.
Maybe it’s time for a little change.4. Play with Solid Color
This is an oldie-but-goodie, setting subjects against a background of a bright, contrasting solid color. It brings out subjects beautifully, and this includes people and portraits!
Solid colors can taken from a simple patch of paint
